Missing fuel cards in Melbourne & Brisbane

Why Melbourne & Brisbane GoGet cars don't have a fuel card right now, and how to claim back the cost if you need to refuel

Updated 4 days ago

Unfortunately, we've had a number of fuel card thefts in both Melbourne and Brisbane, where vehicles have been broken into and the cards stolen. To protect our members and fleet while we work on a longer-term fix, we've removed fuel cards from cars in both these cities.

We're sorry for the extra hassle - we know it's not ideal.

What to do if you need to refuel

  1. Pay for fuel yourself and hold onto your receipt.
  2. Finish your booking as normal.
  3. Once your booking is complete, submit your receipt for a full reimbursement via the GoGet app:
  4. Open the GoGet app
  5. Go to Profile → Fuel Reimbursement
  6. Upload your receipt and choose your preferred reimbursement method

You can be reimbursed by bank transfer or GoGet credit - whichever you prefer.

---

When will I be reimbursed?

Reimbursements are processed everyday between Monday and Friday and can take a couple of days to reach your bank account once we've processed the payment. You can choose GoGet credit or bank transfer.

---

When will fuel cards be back?

We don't have a timeline right now, though we're actively working on a permanent solution. We'll update this article and notify member when this is clear.
